Job/Project: Concrete Floor Crack Repair Project
Location:
Irathane Systems of Hibbing, Minnesota
Description
of Job: I had to clean, prepare, fill, patch, and
structurally
repair approximately 110 linear feet of some pretty serious floor
cracking on this job. Such a repair requires some pretty
serious
preparation that involves grinding, shotblasting, vaccuuming, cleaning
with compressed air, and stitching the cracks back together using steel
bar and industrial epoxy patching compounds. I uploaded a
couple
of short videos (a 2 minute video that shows the cracks after they were
prepared and about a 1 minute video that shows the finished project.

INDUSTRIAL WORKSHOP:
Job/Project: Clean & Prep existing workshop floor surface for new floor coating system Location: Hibbing, MN
Description
of Job: Here is an industrial workshop that was actually
previously coated a number of years ago. We degreased/cleaned it,
sanded it to create a mechanical bonding surface, and installed a
3-coat epoxy/urethane coating system.
INDUSTRIAL RESTROOM / LOCKER ROOM:
Description
of Job: Here is an industrial bathroom project we tackled;
We removed all the old vinyl tile, diamond-ground off 2 layers of tile
adhesive, shotblasted the floor, and ground the edges. Installed
a 3 coat epoxy/urethane coating system.
INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSE/ MACHINE SHOP:
Description
of Job: Here are pics of what was previously a machine shop
floor, but has been converted into a warehouse. The floor was
heavily saturated with decades of oil, grease, and maintenance fluids
from its machine shop days. We thoroughly degreased the floor,
then shotblasted and ground the edges to create a great bonding
surface. 3-coat system installed (2 coats of epoxy, 1 coat
of chemical resistant urethane).
You
can see the great improvement in aesthetics & lighting. The
coating also eliminates concrete dusting (air quality), and it is very
easy to mop clean.

Commercial/Industrial Building, Employee Entrance Area Grand Rapids, MN:

Install 2-coat epoxy system.
Industrial/Manufacturing R&D LAB (quality control) Hibbing, MN:
Job/Project: This
is a quality control and R&D labratory at an industrial
manufacturing facility. It was time to upgrade all equipment in
the lab, as well as refurbish the floor. The floor had previously
been covered with an inexpensive concrete floor paint which did not
hold up. We wanted to start with a fresh pallet, so we ground all
old epoxy paint off of the floor, and then shotblasted it to give the
floor appropriate surface profile. You can see the night and day difference.
We installed a 2-coat epoxy floor system.
